May was our most productive month so far. We shipped the complete core product — voicebots, campaigns, call flows, lead management, analytics, and billing — and moved from a raw prototype to a system ready for real outbound calling workloads.

Voicebot Builder

Live

Create, edit, and delete AI voicebot agents entirely from the dashboard. Each voicebot is configured with:

System prompt — persona, call objective, qualification questions, objection handling
Language — Hindi, English, or Hinglish
Voice selection from 10 available AI voices
Max call duration, first message, end-call phrases, and output fields

AI Prompt Generator

Live

AI-assisted prompt generator inside the voicebot builder. Provide your product name, call goal, tone, and language — Zappio generates a full, ready-to-use voicebot prompt in seconds.

Cuts voicebot setup time from 30+ minutes to under 5 minutes.

Campaign Engine

Live

Create a campaign, assign a voicebot or flow, add leads, and start. The engine:

Calls leads within your configured time window (e.g., 9 AM–9 PM)
Handles multiple simultaneous calls based on your plan
Automatically retries unanswered or failed calls
Auto-pauses the campaign if credits run out, with reason shown

Call Flows — Multi-Step Sequences

Live

Chain multiple voicebots in sequence, each with its own calling window and a wait period between steps. A full multi-touch outbound cadence without building it manually.

Qualification call on Day 1 → follow-up 4 hours later if interested
Second attempt at 9 AM Day 2 if no answer on Day 1

Lead Import — CSV and Excel

Live

Upload leads in bulk via CSV or Excel. The import engine:

Auto-detects phone, name, and email columns regardless of header naming
Normalizes all phone numbers to a standard format automatically
Preserves extra columns as custom fields on the lead record
Shows a clear summary — total rows, imported, skipped, and errors

Lead Ingest API

Live

Generate an API key from Settings and push leads programmatically from any external source — website forms, Meta lead ads, CRMs, Zapier, or custom integrations.

One API call adds the lead to the specified campaign instantly
Facebook/Instagram lead ads → Zappio campaign in real time

Analytics Dashboard

Live

Three analytics views now live:

Overview — platform-wide metrics: leads, calls, success rate, duration, credits
Campaign Analytics — lead funnel, call completion, hourly pickup rates
Daily Call Volume — trend chart for 7–90 days

Credits & Billing

Live

Zappio now runs on a credit-based billing model:

Billing per minute of call time, billed in whole minutes rounded up
Credits deducted at the end of each call — test calls never billed
Full credit history available per organization
Campaigns auto-pause when balance drops below cost of one call

WhatsApp Integration

In Progress

Native WhatsApp integration via Meta Business API. Send follow-up messages as part of a campaign flow, receive and log inbound replies against the lead record, and use approved message templates for outbound messaging.

Post-Call SMS

Automated SMS sent to the lead after a completed call — configurable per voicebot. If a lead shows interest, an SMS with a link or next step fires automatically.

Voicebot cards
Refreshed with cleaner status badges and a quick-test button without opening the full edit view.
Campaign creation
Moved to a slide-in panel so the rest of your dashboard stays visible.
Credits display
Numbers now use proper formatting across the entire dashboard (12,500 not 12500).
Settings page
Account info, organization details, credit balance, and API key management in one clean page.
Empty states
All dashboard views now show a helpful prompt when there is no data yet.
Notifications
Consistent success and error messages across all actions. No more silent failures.
Tablet layout
Dashboard layout adjusted for tablet viewports.
Performance & Infrastructure

Under the hood

Faster call start
First message audio is pre-loaded before the call connects. Leads hear the voicebot immediately with no delay.
Call recording
All calls are now recorded by default and accessible for post-call review.
Faster lead imports
Bulk lead uploads now process significantly faster for large files.
Cloud deployment
Zappio's backend is deployed on Google Cloud with an automated build and deployment pipeline.
Bug Fixes

Issues resolved this month

Credits being deducted twice for the same call in certain conditions
Call queue occasionally freezing and stopping new calls from being dispatched
Phone numbers with non-standard formatting being incorrectly rejected on import
Leads with extra spaces in the phone field being skipped during import
Campaign pause reason not appearing in the dashboard immediately after a credit-based pause
Safari authentication failure on Mac, iPhone, and iPad

Building Transparently

The foundation is live.

We are building Zappio transparently because outbound voice AI does not need to be a black box. If you can create a voicebot, load a campaign, and start calling leads in under 10 minutes — that is the product working as intended.

May's release is that foundation. Everything from here builds on top of it.
